How does Wantr work?+
Wantr is a fully automatic price tracker. Paste the URL of any supported product, set your target price and Wantr monitors the item several times a day. As soon as the price drops to your threshold, you receive an email notification instantly. No need to check the site again.
Is it free?+
Yes, completely free. No subscription, no paid plan, no intrusive ads. Wantr is an independent project funded out of pocket. If it's saved you money and you'd like to give something back, you can buy us a coffee. It's never required and never will be.
Which stores and countries does it support?+
We currently support Zalando and Deporvillage across several European markets (Spain, France, Italy, UK, Netherlands and Portugal). If you'd like to see another store or market added, get in touch and we'll look into it.
How often are prices updated?+
Prices are checked several times a day automatically. You can also trigger a manual refresh from the product page using the refresh button, with a limit of once every 30 minutes to avoid overloading the system.
Do I need to create an account?+
Not required. To create an alert you only need your email. No password or verification needed. But if you create a free account you can manage all your alerts from a personal dashboard (pause, reactivate, delete them), save favourites and recover access if you forget your password.
What are favourites?+
Favourites are products you save to track their price evolution in one place, without having to search for them again. You need a free account to use them. You can add any tracked product to your favourites and access them all from your profile at any time.
How many price alerts can I create?+
You can create as many alerts as you like, one per product. Each alert fires exactly once, when the price drops, and is automatically deactivated. If you have an account, you can reactivate it from your dashboard whenever you like.
How do I cancel an alert?+
The confirmation email you receive when creating the alert includes a link to cancel it at any time. If you have an account, you can also manage it directly from your alerts dashboard. If you've lost the email and don't have an account, contact us at hello@wantr.io and we'll delete it within 24 hours.
What if the price never drops?+
If the alert never fires, it is automatically deleted after 12 months from creation. Your email is not kept beyond that period under any circumstances. Wantr only stores what is strictly necessary to send you the notification.
Is Wantr affiliated with the tracked stores?+
No. Wantr is an independent project with no commercial relationship, sponsorship, association or endorsement from any of the tracked platforms. Prices are obtained through automated public crawling for informational purposes only.
Are the prices shown accurate?+
They are as accurate as possible, but may have a slight lag behind the real-time price in the store. Flash discounts, stock changes or crawling errors can cause differences. Always confirm the price in the store before buying. Wantr is an informational tool, not a price guarantee.
